In 2008 Paolo got a High School Diploma (with emphasis on the humanities) in “A. Canova” High School in Treviso (Italy) with final grade 100/100. In 2011 he got a B. Sc. Degree in Biotechnology at the University of Padua (Italy) after three years. In March 2012 he won an Erasmus Fellowship in order to carry out his M. Sc. Degree experimental thesis in the Royal College of Surgeons (Dublin, Ireland) from March 2013 to September 2013. Paolo has carried out his Master Degree thesis in Cancer Genetics Group (Department of Molecular and Cellular Therapeutics) and which was supervised by Prof. Stallings and Dr. Bray. The focus of the study was miRNA expression in neuroblastoma.
Paolo graduated (M. Sc. Degree) in Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies at the University of Padua in October 2013. He was awarded an Early Stage Researcher position in the AngioMatTrain project, a Marie Curie International Training Programme funded by the European Union under the FP7 Programme. He is completing his PhD at the National University of Ireland, Galway, under the research group Network of Excellence for Functional Biomaterials directed by Prof. Pandit.
